The BMW MINI COPPER is again in the limelight with its all-new collection the Cooper S Clubman. It is just not a car, a practical car to deal with. Can be called as a perfect family luxury SUV.
BMW India will introduce the 2017 Mini Cooper Clubman in India on December 17. This is the first time that the Clubman variant arrives in India, which will arrive via the CBU route.
Engine & Performance:
The new Clubman is powered by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which produces 192 PS and 280 Nm of torque – 300 Nm with overboots. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.1 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 228 km/h. It is even better than the previous six-speed automatic gearbox. The rate of acceleration is just on the go.
The new Clubman is currently the longest Mini that one can buy, measuring 270 mm longer, 90 mm wider and has 100 mm longer wheelbase than the Mini 5-door hatchback.

The Clubman could launch in two variants: Cooper S Clubman and Cooper D Clubman.
The 2017 Mini Cooper Clubman has excellent material quality throughout the cabin. And the interior is well isolated from outside noise so you won’t have to shout when conversing with passengers. Modern styling gives the Clubman’s cabin an appealing look.
Whether you sit up front or in the back, you’ll find the Clubman’s seats comfortable, spacious, and supportive.
The Clubman has plenty of tech features, though some optional features in the Clubman are standard in competitors. The Clubman’s dash is smartly arranged, making it easy to see and use the controls for tech functions.
Standard features in the 2017 Clubman include a Harman stereo system, a USB port, Bluetooth, the Mini is Connected to an infotainment system and a touch controller for the infotainment system with handwriting recognition. It also consists of the BMW -I3 controls that make the car more promising look wise and more stylish.
Available features include navigation, a power moonroof, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon stereo, adaptive cruise control, satellite radio, wireless device charging, an 8.8-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, a head-up display, rear parking sensors, and automatic parallel park assist.
This all can include a bit high price range from the basic version.
As the new Six-door hatchback, BMW MINI COOPER s Clubman starts with the range of around 38 Lakhs, which makes it in a brighter side for the other hatchback. Because it has no rival in this segment.
The Cooper D Clubman packs the 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder diesel engine also paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It outputs 150 PS and 330 Nm of torque, allowing the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 212 km/h (131 mph).
